College Graduation Outfit

Last Saturday I graduated from college after 6 years!

I had a smallish party (or at least smaller then a high school grad party) to celebrate. I didn’t go too crazy with the decorations since it was for a college graduation but did come up with a couple of cute things. I found a cute dessert stand (may have been meant for a garden) at Hobby Lobby & used my vintage camera collection as center pieces (great idea for a journalist going into photography!). I have 6 vintage cameras & put each on a table with a ballon tied to it, one of those tables was inside & was the only one I took a picture of. I also set out my photography portfolio & DSLR on that table. The mini grad cap next to my DSLR is from Francesca’s.

The school colors are blue & yellow so I decided to wear a blue dress. I love this one from Francesca’s but it has such a deep v! Luckily I found the perfect basic bralette in literally the same color (comes in 9 other colors too!). I also wore my old Victoria’s Secret loafers since I didn’t want to wear heels for this long day or for my grad walk. A friend of mine gave me a pretty bouquet of flowers so I decided to grab the white daisies out of it for the shoot.
