Lets take a minute to talk about impulse buys. More specifically, the shoes I’m wearing. These old Victoria’s Secret loafers are the most comfortable shoes I own and I almost didn’t buy them.
I bought them about five years ago, and they where more expensive then what I would typically spend on a pair of shoes. I was also mostly still buying my shoes from Payless (remember I live in a small town, not many other options here). I just happened to be flipping through their spring catalog from the mail, not expecting to find anything – especially anything in my price range – when I found these gold sequin shoes. At this point in time sequin, and really anything glittery wasn’t something I was too drawn to. But for some reason I just could not get these shoes out of my head. So I bought them, not knowing if their smallest size, size 5, would even fit my tiny feet, or if I’d even like them in person. Well they must have run small because they fit perfectly and I was just as obsessed with them in person. I only wish I’d been able to buy them in more colors.
