Nails of the Week

For this week’s nails I thought about doing a black and white plaid design to match a scarf I’ll wear this week (also using it as my background), but since its spring I decided I should maybe do something with a lighter feel. Plaid nails are maybe more for fall or winter anyway.

To do these nails I first painted a nude base using a nude color that came from a Sally Hansen french manicure set. Once that was dry, I used thin nail tape to block off the nude areas and create the space for my stripes. Then I used black to carefully paint in my stripes.
