I can hardly believe it but my little sister just graduated from college! Her school was a few hours away, so we drove up the day before, and after going out to eat with her and her boyfriend after the ceremony we drove back home, so I didn’t have much time to take outfit pictures. My shoes were killing me at this point anyway so I was happy to just get in the car and head back home.
Instead I decided to take outfit pictures at our local community garden, which worked out great because my family pass was about to expire and I was glad to have an excuse to go there before it did. For this outfit I ended up standing in front of this magnolia tree because the colors kind of matched the cherry blossoms on my dress. Up until that day I actually didn’t know what a magnolia looked, so that was a fun discovery. After the shoot my mom took some pictures of the flowers – I would have too, but my shoes were killing me again – and some of them turned out pretty good. This one below is my favorite!
