For the final outfit in this series, my sister put me in a pink blouse & faux leather tuxedo striped leggings. After settling on a pair of simple black heels, I could see her getting a little overwhelmed when it came to picking out jewelry for this last outfit, so I suggested she pick out one of my layered necklaces. She picked out my layered coin necklace and I think it helped complete the dressy, yet slightly edgy/cool girl look she was going for. I really love the way my sister styled these leggings and I don’t think I would have come up with this outfit on my own.
My sister and I actually have the same pair of leggings and we’ve joked that mine look more like dress pants then leggings because they fit me so differently. As frustrating as it is to find leggings that fit me, I’ve actually grown to really like wearing these as a skinny dress pant, I think it makes them more versatile. However, I don’t style them for the blog very often because it’s usually hard to find a similar pair to link at the end of a post. Luckily, the store I bought them from is selling a nearly identical pair right now. Maybe I’ll take that as a sign that I should style these leggings for the blog more often, instead of just reserving them for mass on chilly Sunday mornings when I don’t know what to wear.
