Nails of the Week

To paint these black, grey, and gold marble nails I first painted three coats of dark grey polish on my nails. Next I painted on a top coat, which is important for the next step. Then to create my grey/black background, I used a sharpie and scribbled over my nails so they were about 80% black. Next I used a q-tip dipped in acetone and carefully dabbed at the sharpie to smear it into the polish. After that I used wadded up plastic wrap to paint on the gold veins. Lastly, I used a top coat to seal everything together.
