On Saturday I went to a fundraising gala hosted at my church. While scouting location to shoot my outfit, I noticed the old location for my church (now used as an event space) was recently refurbished on the outside with the doors being re-stained and the steps re-carpeted. The timing felt very serendipitous, so I knew I had to use this location.
As for the outfit, I’m wearing an embroidered cami with a satin pleated skirt. To warm up this look for the winter season, I added tights and a faux fur stole. I find that a stole adds a nice touch of glamour to an outfit for any fancy winter occasion. To match my stole, I bought the fluffy bag I’m wearing just for this outfit. It’s kind of extra looking, but I think it was a fun accessory to add for the winter event.
