Felt so comfy & cute in this sort of dressy sort of casual look. In my small midwest town this look is considered to be quite dressy for a weekend look just running errands & what not, but to me this is how I prefer to do casual. I mean I am wearing shorts & flats!

Wore my favorite old romper with this sheer kimono I bought last year. This kimono has been so great to wear this summer because it is the perfect compromise when sleeves are needed inside when the ac is being blasted, but it’s 80/90 degrees outside.

I’ve had these shorts for eight years & each summer when I pull them out I’m so happy they fit! I don’t buy many things that have a crazy print on them so when I find something I like that does, it’s really REALLY nice when they last for years & years.

On our last beach day my sister let me barrow her Lilly by Target shorts because they match my suit so well. I had brought some pink shorts of my own that didn’t match too well & my sister decided we should switch. So happy she let me barrow them & that she took such a great picture of my outfit!
