Truth be told I wore this dress two days in a row. I know what you’re thinking, 😱 why?! Saturday was my birthday and we had plans to go to a baby shower two hours away. After that my mom, sister, and I went to hang out and have dinner with my grandma who lives in a city an hour away from where we live. So we were basically out of town the whole day. That evening I was wishing I had worn different accessories and gone for more of a summer festival look instead of the statement necklace and white heels I had chosen. This weekend happened to be the weekend a summer arts festival was going on in my home town, so I decided I could easily re-wear the dress Sunday afternoon since I was out of town most of Saturday. Sunday after church I threw the dress on (I overslept and didn’t have time to wear this whole look to mass), carefully put on a chain hair clip (pictured below), a handful of rings, and my little vintage necklace since the hair clip is kind of a statement piece. I thought about putting on some flash tattoos but couldn’t settle on which ones so I went without.
Also, if you’re wondering why this dress looks so familiar I wore it as a top two months ago! I have a short torso from scoliosis and knew when I bought it that I’d be able to wear it with a slip and make it a dress. I think I discovered I like it even better as a dress instead of a tunic.
