Outfit of the Day

I finally bought this Free People dress I’ve been eyeing all summer long! I was actually stalking two very similar dresses this summer, one being this Cross My Heart in Lace Tunic, and the other this Secret Origins Pieced Lace Tunic. They’re basically the same dress, just with and without sleeves. The sleeveless one I have was 60% off at Nordstrom a few weeks ago, so when I saw the sale I decided I had to try out both dresses to see what I liked best. The only problem was I kept missing my size when it would get re-stocked at Nordstrom. This dress is also available at Revolve for full price, but thought it wouldn’t hurt to ask if they do price matching. Luckily, they do! I got the sleeveless version on major sale from Revolve and the long sleeve one from Free People (this one is a Free People exclusive).

To give you the full picture, I was originally only stalking the long sleeve dress this summer, but I’m so glad I came across the sleeveless version of it soon after! When I tried the long sleeve dress on it fit me, but because of the loose fit around the bust, the sleeves pulled the v-neck section around a lot. As much as I LOVED those bell sleeves, I could not commit to having to adjust the neckline of that dress as often as I would have been necessary. Thankfully, I had no issues with sleeveless dress, plus it only cost me about half the price of the long sleeve dress!
