Lately I’ve been inspired by other bloggers wearing camel/tan/taupe with black or grey this fall and immediately thought of this outfit combination when I decided to try the color combo myself. I don’t have a lot of earth tones in my wardrobe (mostly just brown boots) so I decided I needed to borrow my dad’s plaid scarf and make it the center of my outfit (it also inspired my nails this week). Since the scarf is the main focus of my outfit, I needed the rest of my outfit to be neutral so I pulled out this old cowl neck sweater dress that I want to say is from JCP. For other accessories, I added my old quilted crossbody from Francesca’s, basic tan ankle boots, & realizing I wasn’t wearing any jewelry, I added my rhinestone leaf drop earrings.
I wore this outfit to another consult meeting for the photography business I’m starting and honestly felt like such a fashion-y business woman. 😅 Unfortunately, I was coughing and sniffling the whole time because I caught a cold this week. 😷😳
