I went to a wedding reception last weekend that had a lax dress code and admittedly was a little over dressed. I was probably one of the top five most dressed up people there, including the bride and groom. 😅 Oh well, as soon as we decided we were going, I immediately thought of wearing this skirt with my new jacket. Though, I suppose I could have worn a plain black tee and the outfit would have still garnered a few compliments. I felt supper pretty in this though.
This millennial pink midi skirt is the perfect thing to wear to a fall wedding (btw the website calls it taupe, but it is definitely pink in person). It has wow factor with its layers and beading, and its midi length is great whether you’re a normal height or if you’re really short like me and have to wear it as a maxi. Because its made of tulle and sheer at the bottom third, it won’t make you look like you’r drowning in fabric. I decided to pair it with this ruffly blouse (that I surprisingly found at Walmart nearly 10 years ago), a vintage necklace I got from my mom, and my ankle boots.
