Nails of the Week

I had a Christmas event to go to this weekend so I decided to take this week as an opportunity to post some holiday nail and outfit inspiration this week. I really wanted to use this old glittery red nail polish so I decided since it makes such a statement on its own I’d keep the design simple and contrast it will matte polish.

I started with a dark red base because this polish can look a little pink on one application and with the gold micro glitter it can look a little orange overall. Once dry, I used clear tape that I cut with scissors to block off the red and make the small triangles for the black polish. Once the black polish was dry, I used my matte top coat. Then pulled off the tape when the top coat was dry.
