Outfit of the Day

IMG_2736
I wore this dressy yet comfy look Sunday morning while camping. It’s been such a busy month that I didn’t have time to shoot it until the other day. It was so worth it though, because we went to our local community garden to shoot and there were a TON of monarch butterflies everywhere! We were even able to catch one in this outfit photo in the top left corner.

The butterflies were swarming this group of purple flowers. I focused my camera on the one on the far left, but you can see a number of them in the foreground and background.

Anyway, back to this outfit. I picked this to wear Sunday morning because I wanted something dressy yet comfortable enough to wear while packing things up right after mass and traveling in the car for a few hours. These billowy cotton shorts that look like a skirt are one of the most versatile things in my wardrobe. If you find some you like I highly recommend getting them. They can easily be worn with a t-shirt and flats, or dressed up with a blouse and low heels like I did here.

Layered coin necklace from a local boutique/Rue 21 cold shoulder blouse, similar Nordstrom Rack Gracia collared cold-shoulder blouse, & Lord & Taylor Foxcroft cold shoulder shirt/American Eagle floral skort, similar AE floral skirty short, & H&M patterned shorts/Predictions strappy sandals, similar Macy’s Bandolino strappy sandals, & somewhat similar Missguided gladiator sandals
