Outfit of the Day

I bought my first pair of high waisted denim shorts this summer and I am living in them. I’ve been meaning to try out some high waisted denim for a few years now, but whenever I go shopping other things catch my eye first and I fill up my cart too much to start looking for new denim. Luckily, while I was at a boutique sale these where the first thing I picked up and the only thing I wanted to take home with me.

I’ve had my Clueless shirt since last fall, but it hasn’t felt seasonally appropriate until the summer. I was thinking of wearing it with gingham shorts, but since I bought the denim pair I knew I had to wear this outfit first. Because the shirt has some black text on it, I decided to wear my black faux Gucci belt to add some more black color to the look. After adding the belt, I wanted to keep the rest of the accessories simple. So I paired a plain, short chain necklace that matches my belt buckle, a sleek pair of sunglasses, and basic white sandals to the look.
