My sister came back to town for a family camping trip earlier this month and we were able to shoot a number of looks for the blog while we were together. We had such a fun and creatively productive vacation together, and I am so thankful that she enjoys helping me with the blog now that she’s an adult. On this particular day of camping she helped me walk over to a rocky ledge at the beach. It was a very hot day and she kindly scouted out a few potential shooting locations before we settled on this spot and had a nearly half hour photography session.
I built this outfit around wanting to pair this hat with my floral Free People dress, then added my lace kimono to give the look a more summery/beach-y vibe. Lastly, I added a layer of necklaces, heels, and some new Tarte lipstick (in Siesta) for a touch of “glam” that I can never seem to resist.
