Outfit of the Day

This winter my family and I flew out to Austin, Texas to visit my little sister for a week. She’s been living down south for over a year now and we thought it would be fun to see her over the winter and get away from the brutally cold Mid-West. Since we were traveling to someplace with balmy 50-70 degree weather, I thought I would shoot my Valentine’s Day/February looks there.

I rarely fly, so I decided to start with an airport look. For the long day of travel I opted to wear a comfy blush pink sweater with my ripped pearl embellished jeans, a pink statement necklace, and pink peep toe boots. I wouldn’t normally wear peep toed boots around here in the winter. Period. But, since we’d be spending most of the time in airports this day I thought I’d suck it up and wear open toe shoes. It was definitely worth it because I did not need another pair of boots just to travel in.
