For this years Valentine’s Day nails I decided to go all out like I did last year with heart confetti and other mix media elements. I somehow ended up using mostly one brand, Sally Hansen Color Therapy (not sponsored), and while linking the colors I noticed two of the three main colors I used don’t look the same online. The color Re-nude looks like a medium nude online, but in real life its very pink. The color Powder Room looks like a metallic tan online, but its more of a shimmery faint lavender (my picture doesn’t quite do this color justice).
To paint these nails I painted a base of light pink on my pointer & pinky fingers, pink on my middle fingers, and a shimmery lavender on my thumbs & ring fingers. Next I used a thin nail brush to paint on gold, pink, lavender, and white in a tweed design on my pointer and pinky fingers. Then I used a tweezers to place the heart confetti in a diamond pattern on my middle fingers, and a single one on my thumbs & ring fingers. Using top coat, I adhered caviar beads to my middle finger in an X, and a single one on my thumbs & ring fingers. Lastly, I used more top coat to add rhinestones to my thumbs & ring fingers.
