Last week it was both my Dad’s and our exchange student’s birthday, so on Saturday night we went out for dinner in the city. Before leaving, I was really struggling with what to wear. I think I change my outfit five times because I was so conflicted. I really wanted to wear this skirt but originally thought I had to wear it with tights to be warm enough. After trying it with a few blouses, I thought that was too dressy. Then I threw on a basic outfit with jeans. Then with about ten minutes before we had to go I thought to myself I really want to wear that skirt. So I told myself to forget the tights and decided on this look. I got just a little cold from time to time, but it was worth it.
