Butter London

IMG_3837
Around Christmas time I decided to take the week off between Christmas and New Year’s, instead of scrambling to publish new content while spending time with family and friends. I used my remaining free time to rest, recharged, and think about what I wanted to post in the new year. Since it’s much too cold this week to stand outside to take ootds, I thought I’d do my first official product review (not sponsored) featuring the set of mini polishes I bought on the NSale.

I’ve been using this set all throughout fall and winter and absolutely love them. This brand has a rounded rectangular brush thats great for painting on a base coat which I really like. It last well without a top coat and I usually end up with little to no chips by the end of the week. The colors are great neutrals that can be paired with so many different colors for different designs. The one negative is that Earl Grey, a dark grey, is so dark it might as well be black. It would have been nice to have a dark grey that actually looked like a dark grey. At least I have my Marc Jacobs Hi-Shine Evelyn nail polish that’s a good dark grey.

Unfortunately, this set sold out not long after I bought mine. But you can purchase full sized bottles of the colors in the set at Nordstrom: Steady On!, Sterling, Yummy Mummy, & Earl Grey can all be found on this page.

My favorite three manicures I’ve done with them are this plaid design, this ombre design, & this snowy design.
