On Thursday nights my home town has a weekly summer festive downtown, there’s live music, and food & drinks from local restaurants. It’s been going on for a couple of years now, and I love being able to go to a little summer festive every week. It’s also a great excuse to wear some of my favorite summer styles, like one of this summer’s most popular trends, gingham. I bought these shorts at the beginning of the season from Nordstrom. They’re kids shorts, which seem to fit me better than most women’s sizes because I’m super short and skinny. I plan on styling them with a few of my basic tee’s while it’s warm out, and think I will wear them with a black sweater and over the knee boots this fall.
