While deciding what to do with this weeks manicure, I realized it would be my last summery manicure of the season. I’ll be slowly transitioning into fall when I paint my nails next, so I wanted to pick a design that would utilize more then just two or three colors. I checked out Pinterest for inspiration like I usually do, and found this manicure, I just adjusted it slightly to fit my taste.
To paint these nails, I first painted on a base of gold polish. Then I used nail striping tape to block off where I wanted my gold stripes. I taped up one hand at a time, then painted on the white, orange, pink, and beige. After the two or so coats of each color where dry, I carefully peeled off the nail tape. I might put a top coat on later, but I’m not sure. If you want to put on top coat, make sure you do so after few hours or a day later so the design will be less likely to smear.
