This outfit was inspired by one I wore last year when I had my sister style me for a week. She put together a pretty cute outfit, however I kept asking her to add my grey beret, but alas they’re just not something that she is very fond of. So this fall I decided to restyle the outfit with the beret, switch the cardigan for a newer one that matches it and the boots better, and wore a newer necklace as well.
In the outfit post from last year I mentioned that I had a clear vision of where I wanted to shoot this look. Sadly, my imagination got the best of me and the spot where I wanted to shoot didn’t quite live up to the memory I thought I had of it. I was going to sit on a cute little bridge that had a dry pebble bedded river running under it, but I was picturing the bridge to be two or three times taller, and my knees stuck up too close to my chest when I sat down. This led me to scramble and look for a new spot to shoot near by so I had time to shoot three looks in one evening. Now I’m tempted to shoot this outfit for a third time next fall so I can get it just right.
