Wow, this old American Eagle necklace did not want to stay put, even for a simple outfit picture! Anyway, I wore this outfit to church Sunday morning, but didn’t get a chance to photograph it until the other day because right after brunch I made a last minute decision to go to the state fair (which was a great decisionš).
I cleaned a bunch of clothes out of my closet recently (I got pretty bored being at home sick) and this dress has gone back and forth from the keep to the donate pile. Even after wearing one more time I still can’t decide. When I see it hanging in my closet I think it looks kind of cute, when I have it on and look down at the skirt I think it looks kind of cute, but the outer shell and the slip are separate pieces and I can never get the necklines to match. I have small shoulders so I had to make the slip really short to cover my bra, and since the outer shell isn’t adjustable, I had to use a safety pin to try and fix that. Also the slip is weirdly wide at the top and doesn’t sit right. I guess I should probably say goodbye to this dress, maybe if it were a skirt instead I would keep it. Also, maybe it would help if I bought a new white dress… I’ve had my eye on a Free People one all summer šĀ *sigh*
