My all time favorite skirt is this lace sequined skirt I happened to find on clearance at Urban Outfitters. I’ve had it almost as long as I’ve had the shoes I just talked about in this post, and like the shoes, I try to find new ways to style it for the blog every year without being too repetitive.
This time, I decided to pair it with this plain beige t-shirt that is so incredibly soft and comfy. I’ve had it for a while, but don’t think I’ve ever worn it on the blog. I’ve just been wearing it in the summer when I need something quick to pull on for an errand. To help tie this pairing together, I added my new layered coin necklace to balance out the sequins on my skirt. Lastly, I wore my brand new Sam Edelmen heels just because they’re new.
I recently decided the heels I was going to wear for an upcoming wedding were just going to be too uncomfortable, so over Memorial Day weekend I became determined to find a new pair. I try my best to buy things on sale or use coupons when it comes to pricier items like these shoes, but I’m a size 4, and finding a cute, comfortable pair of heels on sale is kind of like winning the lottery. So when I saw that only 5 pairs of these were left, I went for it. I’m so happy I did because they are the most comfortable pair of heels I own!
