For the past few weeks I’ve been trying to think of a new way to style these sequin loafers that I bought 10 years ago from Victoria’s Secret. I love them, I really do. They are the most comfortable flats I own and they are really well made. The thing is, it can be tricky coming up with new ways to style these statement shoes for the blog. After wearing this outfit and feeling like it was more of a success then I initially thought it would be, I decided to use it as inspiration for today’s outfit. I kept the basic parts from the outfit and wore them the same way, but swapped out the kimono for this off white gold polka dot button down, and instead of a necklace, I wore these new sunglasses since I don’t like to wear much jewelry with these shoes.
Speaking of which, remember the Nordstrom shopping haul I posted the week before last? Well, these are the sunglasses that were supposed to be in my order. Over Memorial Day weekend I noticed they were back in stock for a few minutes online and I was able to snatch them up! Some reviewers said that they run a tad small, but I’ve always had a problem with sunglasses being slightly big on me and I think they fit perfectly. They ran out again in this color, but I still linked them just in case you all want to check out the black pair.
